GoLucid Field Notes:

Geminai LLC is an immersive technology and creative services team that helps organizations use holographic displays in practical, meaningful ways at events and installations. Rather than selling hardware, they focus on the strategy, content creation, and production needed to make holography work in the real world.

I recently met with Jaye Younkin (COO) and Joanne Stanway (CEO) to talk through how they support holographic experiences using Proto Hologram displays as the physical canvas. Geminai handles everything that happens inside the box, from live “beamed in” presenters and pre-recorded holographic content to conversational digital characters and branded 3D visuals. Their strength is helping brands think through when holography makes sense, how to design experiences around it, and how to avoid it becoming a novelty with no follow through.

Their work shows up across events, retail, education, and healthcare, where presence and attention matter more than screen based interaction. In an event setting, Geminai is often brought in when organizers or sponsors want a standout moment but need a team that can handle concepting, execution, and live operations, not just ship equipment to a booth.
