WoomAI (by Virtualni Event) is an AI‑powered event assistant delivered through WhatsApp, designed to give attendees a personalized experience without asking them to download a separate event app.

Met with Tom Gavazzi (CEO and Founder) to understand how they approach conversational AI for events. Tom shared that WoomAI is built to be personalized, relevant, automated, and available 24/7, using event‑specific data to answer questions, surface useful content, support networking, and connect into CRM workflows so insights collected through conversations remain usable after the event.

Tom emphasized that the WhatsApp assistant is designed to transform a one‑time event experience into long‑term, interactive communication between participants and the event. By operating through consent‑based messaging, respecting tone, frequency, and privacy expectations, WoomAI supports engagement before, during, and well after event dates without overwhelming participants.
